Introduction
InfraConnect set out to simplify one of the construction industry’s most complex problems — decentralized procurement. Contractors often struggled with fragmented vendor networks, inconsistent pricing, and slow, manual bidding processes.
The platform needed to:
Enable region-based procurement workflows and category visibility.
- Automate RFPs and bids for defined and undefined products.
- Support flexible pricing adjustments for partial deliveries.
- Manage multiple roles (Admin, Buyer, Vendor) with granular access.

The Challenge
Building a platform that balanced automation, flexibility, and transparency across multiple user roles required addressing several technical challenges:
- Dynamic Location Enforcement: Buyers could only see and purchase products available in their region.
- Flexible RFP Workflow: Needed to handle both priced and undefined-price product requests.
- Scalable Order Splitting: Managing partial deliveries and adjusting balances without breaking workflows.
- Notification Overload: Ensuring SMS, email, and WhatsApp alerts didn’t overlap or miss critical updates.
- Bid Automation: Vendors needed an advanced bid system capable of auto-triggering based on pre-set quantity and region data.
